Are you a conservative or liberal person? What do you base your beliefs on? Your culture and background, your religion, or something else?
Well, according to one of those Livejournal survey things I actually would be considered libertarian for what that's worth. I suppose given just the two choices I would be called liberal, as conservatism jsut doesn't quite mesh with my world view. That being said, I do not necessarily agree with all the particular positions liberals take. Depends on the issue, whether I give a damn in the first place, and how I feel about it. Not sure waht I base my views on. Perhaps what makes sense to me personally or what seems realistic. Honestly I'm not horribly political at all, but there you go.
Me myself have always been liberal. But, on the other hand as well, I've been a traditionalist as well. I do believe that in most cases, but not all, there is some room, so to speak, foe leeway, and I've always believed that people will do what they're going to do, so let them do it, so long as it's totally within reason.
middle of the road. But I usually stick to the right! both sides have there bafoons, and good points. I also think both sides tend to try and alienate the other too much.
I'm a Democrat, so I guess that's the same thing as Liberal.? I agree with a lot of views of that side, particularly the financial stuff and most other stuff. But I also agree with some specifics of what the Conservitives are for.

Put it nthis way if I ever find myself agreeing with Gw Bush its time to admit defeat...I'm a Scottish Nationalist ..which means I believe in home rule for Scotland and that we should be able to entirely conduct our own affairs and not be seen as part of Britian.
